Thank you for your very nice comment! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390897375295135939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5800878984837762970.post-32553514189414441802016-01-25T11:53:19.400-05:002016-01-25T11:53:19.400-05:00Thanks very much Susan! I think they were getting too soggy and not airing out enough until I did that. Luckily we are quite humid and warm most of the time! They seem to be ok today - and we're finally warming up. I, too, feel a little guilty complaining when we all know how hard the north has been hit lately with cold and snow. But, I really am COLD, lol! I've had my share of warm beverages this week, that's for sure! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390897375295135939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5800878984837762970.post-7273705165253863652016-01-25T11:45:33.883-05:002016-01-25T11:45:33.883-05:00Hi Janice! They hung them in the trees in summer, but then they brought them inside to sit on the window sills in winter. It must be great to be able to grow them outside nearly all year round. They're so beautiful and romantic!Leslie Kimelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819439877752751687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5800878984837762970.post-17340091299460391502016-01-23T21:17:32.558-05:002016-01-23T21:17:32.558-05:00Hi Lynn, you have a fabulous collection of orchids...Hi Lynn, you have a fabulous collection of orchids. Vandas are a favorite of mine as well as the phals. Love how you display them on your lanai. Mine are scattered through out the house and in the garage with a lot of other tender favorites. We're expecting 31 degrees here tonight and I'm hoping they are wrong. Stay warm down there in the south and enjoy your blooming beauties. Lynn, your orchids are absolutely beautiful! You have some gorgeous colors and I really like how you just have them in baskets like that because they look even more beautiful with their roots dangling down. Really lovely! Mine have all come up close to the house and the ones outside in the trees got wrapped carefully. Hopefully it won't be too bad tonight! As always, it is such a delight to see photos of your lovely flowers!

- KateAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01080194896492043939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5800878984837762970.post-64072609201649176462016-01-23T18:11:54.070-05:002016-01-23T18:11:54.070-05:00What beautiful orchids! It is supposed to get down to 41 here in s.e. FL and feel like it's 35. For us that is COLD. It was very windy here all day and there's still a little wind, but it is supposed to be dying down.

Have a lovely Sunday and enjoy our bit of winter weather.

FlowerLadyFlowerLady Lorrainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678852154334714784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5800878984837762970.post-11965895291644710022016-01-23T11:24:21.468-05:002016-01-23T11:24:21.468-05:00

The few cold days we have always make me appreciate our normal, gorgeous Florida weather. A chance to get out the boots and sweaters is a welcome change, for a couple days. Windy, but at least we will have some sun to warm us up! Your orchids are stunning. I'd love for you to share this outdoor post on Tuesday's Maple Hill Hop! I think folks (especially up north) would really enjoy it. Stay toasty!daisy ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06129079277073067462noreply@blogger.com
